This standard deck girder carried a Soo Line branch over the Montreal River.
Built in 1898, it is yet another example of an 1890s Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Company work in the area.
The bridge consists of a main deck girder span, set onto a stone pier. The bridge is also approached by trestle spans on either side.
Overall, the bridge is in good condition. The bridge was being converted to a trail at the time of the authors December, 2016 visit.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
